I thought I was behind. I might have been composting.

There is a kind of panic that comes with feeling late...

Late to driving.

Late to confidence.

Late to leaving relationships

Late to building a business

Late to buying a house,

Late to becoming who you were ment to be.

I know that panic.

For years I mistook those delays for failure.

If life wasn't visibly moving, then I assumed

nothing was happening.

That I was stagnant. But I've been playing with the idea lately

that some seasons that look stuck

are actually just underground seasons.

Composting seasons. Messy...

Hidden....

Quietly fertile.

For a long time, I thought I had lost time.

Now I wonder if some of it was compost.

Some things root before they rise.

And maybe that changes the story.

Much love, One step at a time.
